7-day (Saturday to Saturday) reservations may be made online. Daily rentals (3-day minimum) may be made by phone. Tentative reservations are taken by phone. To confirm, we must receive your deposit within 10 days. A $40 non-refundable reservation fee applies to all rentals.

Rates are subject to change - Add 11% Lodging tax - Cleaning fees not included. Sorry, pets are not allowed.

DEPOSITS

A $400 to $500 per week (varies depending upon house) is required to confirm reservations. The Confirmation Deposit is not applied to rent.

Upon check-in, Confirmation Deposit converts to a DAMAGE/SECURITY DEPOSIT.

ADVANCE RENT- ONE-HALF of rental rate is required 45 days prior to check in. There is a 45 day cancellation on all rentals. A $25 Fee is charged on all confirmed cancellations.

SECURITY/DAMAGE DEPOSITS are fully refundable if conditions are met. Deposits are returned to you by mail approximately 21 days after check out.

ALL RESERVATIONS DURING FALL AND WINTER WILL BE CHARGED A CLEANING FEE .


GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR DAMAGE DEPOSIT REFUND

Including but not limited to the following:

  • No Damage to House
  • No missing or broken items.
  • No more than the maximum number of occupants in the property.
  • Property is left reasonable clean, no dirty dishes, all trash taken to outside containers, in general just general tidying of the property.

We reserve the right to deduct excess cleaning & damage charges from the deposit.


PETS

PETS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN MOST OF OUR RENTAL PROPERTIES... HOWEVER, SOME HOUSES ARE DOG FRIENDLY. There are certain rules we prefer you to abide by if you bring your furry friend with you to the Island.

  • Dogs must be up to date on all shots (to State of Alabama requirements).
  • Dogs must be under a pest management system for fleas and ticks (Frontline®, etc.), and, for their protection, should be on a heart worm preventative regimen (Heart Guard®, etc.).
  • Do not allow your dog onto the furniture unless he or she lies on your towel or blanket.
  • Please ensure that your dog does not chew on the furniture or other items.
  • Please, please, please bring a pooper scooper. Pick up after your dog. Children like to walk and play in the sand.
  • Dauphin Island has a leash law. Dogs must either on a leash or be under voice command at all times.

Evidence of a pet in a non-pet-friendly property will result in the loss of deposit.

CANCELLATIONS

DEPOSIT & ADVANCE RENT are refundable, if reservation is canceled 45 days prior to arrival.

  • We will also refund if we can re-book the property.
  • A $25 processing fee is charged on all cancellations.

RENTAL PAYMENT BALANCE IS DUE UPON ARRIVAL!

We accept: cash, traveler's checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCharge, Discover, cashier's checks. Personal Checks must be mailed in 14 days prior to check in. All late check-in's must pre-pay.

  • THE RENTAL WEEK IS SATURDAY TO SATURDAY.
  • CHECK IN 3:00 PM -- CHECK OUT 10:00 AM..
  • ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO AN 11% LODGING TAX.

PLEASE BRING LINENS, TOWELS, & PAPER PRODUCTS.


GUEST LICENSE AGREEMENT

You will receive your guest license agreement by email. It should be completed, signed and returned to Dauphin Island Real Estate proir to check-in.

Holiday Isle, The Inn at Dauphin Island, Audubon Place, Desoto Landing and the Dauphin Island Beach Club are gated communities and have special rules and regulations . Ask Dauphin Island Real Estate, Inc. for details.

Please be aware that all of our properties are privately owned and we enforce the wishes of our owners concerning the following:


AGE REQUIREMENTS:

We cater to the family and cannot accept reservations for vacationing students, large groups, or house parties. Singles under the age of 25 unaccompanied by a parent will not be permitted to register. Reservations obtained under false pretenses will be subject to loss of deposit / rent and occupants will be asked to vacate premises.



All of our properties are non-smoking.
Smoking is allowed only outside on decks and porches. Thanks.

We reserve the right to substitute houses should the need arise.

Tenants have full responsibility for damages due to misuse, negligence or missing items. Each property is checked after guests check out.

Dauphin Island Real Estate is not responsible for accidents or injury to guest or for loss or theft of valuables.

Please note that all properties are privately owned. Furnishings, decor, appliances, equipment, etc., may change without notice. Please do not move furnishings or kitchen items from one unit to another unit.

Occasionally a property will go on the market for sale. Appointments will be made to accommodate our guests.


Motorized vehicles are strictly prohibited on dunes and beaches. This includes ATV'S, 4-wheelers & motorcycles.  

DAILY RENTALS

During the off season we are happy to book 3 and 4 day minimums on most of our properties. There is a cleaning fee on all daily rentals.

We do three and four day rentals upon availability during the season. Please feel free to call.
 

INTERNET

Many of our rental properties have courtesy high speed DSL and/or wireless internet. While the internet connections on Dauphin Island are generally excellent, Dauphin Island Real Estate, Inc. cannot assume responsibility, and will offer no refunds for any outages that may occur.


2009 RESERVATIONS

We will take reservations for the 2009 season but rates are not guaranteed.


FISHING

All anglers over the age of 16 must purchase an Alabama Saltwater Fishing License. To purchase a license, call the Alabama Marine Resources Division (251) 861-2882. Their website, has a saltwater fishing license cost schedule chart.
